About CPAP Machines & Sleep Therapy Supplies

A CPAP setup is a set of parts that have to work together: the machine, a humidifier and its water chamber, the air tubing, and the smaller consumables that are replaced on a schedule. This collection covers those components from Respironics, Sunset and Spirit Medical. Masks and headgear, and CPAP and respiratory filters, have their own collections within Respiratory Supplies.

Device compatibility is the first thing to confirm. Humidifier chambers, heated tubing and many replacement parts are built for one machine family and will not fit another, even from the same manufacturer. Standard 22 mm tubing fits most machines, while heated tubing uses a connector specific to the device. The machine itself is used at the pressure settings in your prescription.

For replacement parts, read the model name and number from the label on the underside or back of your machine, then match it to the part description. If you have the original part or its packaging, the REF or part number is an even more precise match. Listings note whether a part is sold singly or in a multi-pack, which helps when setting up a regular reorder.

Frequently asked questions

How do I find parts that fit my CPAP machine?

Check the label on your machine for the brand, model name and model number, then choose parts listed as compatible with that exact model. Humidifier chambers and heated tubing are the most model-specific. Standard 22 mm tubing fits most machines. When in doubt, match the part number from the item you are replacing.

Do I need a prescription, and does insurance cover CPAP supplies?

CPAP machines are prescription devices, and many plans require a prescription on file for supplies as well. HCPCS codes, such as A7037 for tubing, are shown on our pages for reference only. Whether an item is covered, and how often it can be replaced, depends on your payer and plan, so check with them first.

How do I reorder the same tubing, chamber or part?

Use the REF or part number printed on the packaging or molded into the part, and search for it on our site. Note whether the listing is for one piece or a multi-pack, since some consumables are packed in twos or more. Keeping that number on file makes each reorder quick and exact.
