Plantar Fasciitis' is the medical term for pain that results from strain and microscopic tearing of the plantar fascia ligament on the bottom of the foot. One common symptom of this condition is sharp heel pain upon arising in the morning (because the ligament contracts during the night). Worn while resting or sleeping, this splint stretches the fascia continuously to minimize morning pain and help speed healing. Adjustable stretch. Use: Relieves Achilles tendonitis.
