Nestle Novasource Renal Nutritional Support Formula is a calorically-dense, nutritionally complete formula designed to meet the unique needs of renal-impaired patients on a volume restricted diet. Protein, vitamin, and mineral profile specifically formulated for patients with chronic or acute renal failure or patients requiring electrolyte or fluid restrictions. It has reduced electrolyte content (potassium, magnesium, phosphorus) to help manage imbalances. Standardized sodium, potassium, and chloride between carton and closed system container. Nutritionally complete formula for tube feeding or oral supplementation. Now provides 18% of calories from protein. Calorically dense for patients who require a fluid restriction.
