Overview
A laryngectomy button is a short, soft tube inserted into the stoma (the opening in the neck) after a laryngectomy. It helps maintain the stoma opening and allows for the use of a voice prosthesis to speak. It's a smaller, more comfortable alternative to a laryngectomy tube after the initial healing period.
