Fire-polished eyelets help reduce friction during insertion, while the hydrophilic coating activates inside the package, providing a lubricated surface that's ready to use with no additional lubrication required.
For users of the coude tip version, an integrated Control Stripe helps maintain proper catheter orientation during insertion. The catheter is packaged with purified water, helping avoid the saline residue that can occur with some hydrophilic catheters. A textured gripper sleeve promotes a controlled, hygienic "no-touch" technique, helping minimize direct contact with the catheter during use.
