About Blood Glucose Test Strips, Meters and Lancets

Test strips are designed for a specific meter or meter family, and a strip made for one system will not work in another, even from the same manufacturer. Control solution is matched to the strip in the same way. Lancets are more flexible, but gauge and fit with your lancing device still matter, with higher gauge numbers indicating thinner lancets.
